Minifigs and Electricity!
It was hard to tell what the weather was going to do so we had a day inside today. (It still hasn’t rained though). I’ve been working on a Lego stage for the minifigs so we put it to use today. I set it up with some holes for the discharge needle to poke through.
The Lego stage. The stage lights are working pretty well to add some illumination from the front. The white towers are humidifier sticks. These are USB powered but fussy about how much power so unfortunately they weren’t working today.
Can I just say this is not the final form. I plan to tidy up the wiring a lot more and have a few bits and bobs arriving soon to help with that.
The results speak for themselves though and the placements enjoyed choosing and building their minifigs and took some great photos.
I’ve got some other ideas of how we can use this stage and I’ve built it to be modular so I can easily swap out the background for different effects.
Finally, here’s a photo I took at home making sure the humidifiers were still working and I hadn’t burned them out.
