The Baltic, Gateshead

Today we head to the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art. We’d come here not just for the cake but for an introductory course on Risograph Printing.

Mmmm, cake!

Risograph printing uses digital stencils created using a machine like a photocopier. You create a stencil for each colour then scan them in. The machine then prints these using a soy based inks printing each colour in a separate pass.

Local artist Mul has been busy painting the boards surrounding the construction areas on the Gateshead quayside.
