Corbridge

Went for a bit of an explore round Corbridge to see if we can find a wheelchair friendly walk.

Minifig on the bridge at Corbridge

Crossing the bridge from the car park into Corbridge.

Not sure how we ended up here, hopefully the rest of the walk is a bit easier.

Minifig standing in a small hollow in a tree

This is more like it. Found a nice little tree cave.

Minifig standing on a post looking out across the coutryside

We’ve left the village behind now.

Minifig on a post next to a woodland path

Nice path with some shade provided by the trees.

Minifig standing on some old ironwork surrounded with brick.

The route was cut short due to a fallen tree that we couldn’t get around so we took an alternate route back to the village. Here’s a close up of the bridge.

Map showing an approximation of the route we took

This is pretty close to the route we took. We actually went up Deadridge Lane but I wouldn’t tackle that again with a wheelchair. Luckily all the gates were gates and not stiles. Overall distance was 5.5km and was quite a nice way to spend a few hours.
