Watergate Forest Park

Another trip out to see how far we can get with my son in his wheelchair.

Black and white photo of a path winding through the woods

Starting off with a nice easy path, no problems here.

Unfortunately we couldn’t get my son down those stairs in the top right of this photo. He could’ve come down and round on the other side but it wouldn’t have been worth the effort as there’s not much to see, it’s very overgrown.

There’s some water running down the rocks in the background but really not much to see.

Now we’re getting to the west of the park.

Maps showing the route we took

We managed to get quite far through the woods but eventually met a big set of steps (in the circled area) that meant we had to turn round and head back. It’s fine though, we had a good couple of hours out exploring.

Wet dog

Sulley certainly had a good time exploring the stream.
